Global Emissions Inventory Activity: GEIA

The Global Emissions Inventory Activity (GEIA) was a component of the International Atmospheric Chemistry Programme (IGAC) but is now directly linked to the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP). Here the GEIA inventories on NMVOC Compound Groups (A), Ammonia (NH) (A+N), and Carbon Monoxide (CO) (A) reside. These datasets have been constructed in line with the corresponding EDGAR inventories, which have been compiled by TNO and MNP. To keep track of the application of the dataset, users are kindly requested to send us an email message, in which they state their name and affiliation, the type of data you transmit, and the field in which the data will be applied. We also welcome comments from users of GEIA data. If you register when you have transmitted GEIA data, your email address may also be used for keeping you informed about data changes, substantial extensions of the dataset, and possible new caveats.
