How to download HYDE data  

Available historical data series are: 
HYDE version 3.1 (5' resolution):

• Gridded population (total, urban and rural counts, densities and areas) from 10 000 B.C. - 2005 A.D.;
• Gridded cropland and pasture land use from 10 000 B.C. - 2005 A.D.
