The “International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology for Development (IAASTD, short – Agricultural Assessment) comprises a global assessment and five sub-global assessments on the impact of agricultural knowledge, science and technology on human development (in particular hunger and poverty) and environmental and social sustainability. As part of a modelling framework, the IMAGE model was used to assess the environmental impacts of a set of global scenarios around agricultural technology and investments. |
