IPCC SRES

The IPCC Special Report on Emission Scenarios (2000) described a set of possible future developments of socio-economic drivers and greenhouse gas emissions in the absence of climate policy. The IMAGE model was one of the six modeling teams providing the underlying scenarios. In 2001, the IMAGE-team released a CD-ROM with detailed information on its reimplementation of the SRES scenarios in terms of developments of socio-economic factors, the energy system, agriculture and land use, emissions, climate and climate impacts for 17 world regions.
