Co-creation with stakeholders
Involving stakeholders from across Europe is key to the Nature Outlook project. In doing so, the aim is to truly cover the different views of groups of people in the EU on the value and future of nature. Two important pillars are a series of stakeholder dialogues in Brussels and a citizens’ survey in nine EU Member States.
Philosophers’ dialogue and book
A special feature of the Nature Outlook project is a philosophers’ debate on the future of nature and nature policy in the EU, which will take place on 11 November 2015. Four internationally renowned philosophers – Bruno Latour, Roger Scruton, Wilhelm Schmid and Annemarie Mol – will engage in a thought-provoking exchange of ideas on the fundamental value of nature and its changing role in society. Their contributions will then be adapted to a volume of essays, which will be published in the Spring of 2016.
